Do You perform small Home Improvement projects?
While our focus is on major interior home improvements and remodels, we are here to serve our St. Johns community as smaller needs arise. Here are some basic guidelines to help ensure we are on the same page:
- Interior projects only.
- We reserve space for 3 small projects per week.
- Small projects are completed every Thursday, please call ahead to reserve a spot.
- $350 minimum/trip with a 4 hour limit. If additional time is needed it will be billed at $90/hr (materials extra)
- Our time is valuable, in respect to our current clients, we do not offer same day services.
Is St. Augustine Home Improvements, LLC Licensed and Insured?
Yes, we are fully licensed, insured, and bonded, therefore you can relax knowing you are in good hands working with a Florida state certified general contractor.

We want to work with a General Contractor we can trust to work on our home improvement project, is your workmanship guaranteed?
Yes, all workmanship provided by St. Augustine Home Improvements, LLC is backed by our industry leading 2 year workmanship warranty.
Additionally, to earn your trust, we take great strides to deliver a quality home improvement product. Because, when you sleep good, so do we.
Who is responsible for Building Permits & Home Inspections?
Most St Johns county home improvement projects require a permit prior to work beginning. We make it easy and we will help you determine if your home improvement project requires a permit.
When you work with St. Augustine Home Improvements, LLC you can simply relax because we gladly take care of the entire permitting process. Likewise, we also schedule all inspections.
Do you work with Interior Designers?
Interior Designers and Architects are amazing as they have an incredible ability to craft a vision that will transform a blank canvas into a work of art. Working with Interior Designers & Architects is a special experience and as such, we always welcome new collaborations.
Will you give me a quick estimate over the phone if I tell you about all the repairs my home needs?
Out of respect to you and the uniqueness of your home, we do not provide phone estimates. However, we do invite you to email photos of your project with all pertinent details and we will gladly provide you with a price range estimate.
Can you please come visit my home and provide an Onsite Estimate?
For initial site visits, we require $175 to cover our travel, consultation, and proposal time. Subsequently, a summary of all proposed work with a line item cost estimate for all your home improvement projects will be provided to you, along with an achievable timeline.
With major renovations, or additions; we will enter into a pre-construction services agreement and we require a retainer from you in advance. This retainer is determined on a case by case basis and covers all custom design, engineering, and cost analysis specifically for your project.
